''Leeds to confidence'' has several years of experience working with a range of individual learners from different background so whether you are completely new to driving or have started and stopped elsewhere, we can help you.
Our approach focuses on you and your experience rather than our methods. We understand that learning can be a different experience for different people. We also place a specific help and support to female learners who need specific support.
Terms & Conditions
All pupils must have a valid licence to drive the tuition vehicle.
Legal responsibilities and Competence
- It is Leeds to Confidence’s responsibility to conduct all driving lessons that we provide to the best of our ability according to the national standards. If for any reason you are unsatisfied with the quality of our service you have the right to terminate the agreement, however lesson fees of completed lessons are not refundable.
Payments
- All payments for lessons must be fully paid 24 hours before the client’s booking. The pick up and drop off location must be agreed within this time too, through a phone call or text message to the driving instructor. Failure to do so will result in the booking being cancelled.
Cancellations Fees and Notices
- You must give at least 48 hours’ notice for cancelling and/or rearranging a booked driving lesson. Failure to do so will result in a cancellation fee that will equal 50% of the price of the lesson. This does not apply to the cancellation of entire block bookings.
- The driving instructor may need to cancel a lesson at a moment's notice due to unforeseen circumstances. In these instances, you are entitled to rebook the lesson free of charge at the instructor’s earliest convenience.
Discounts / Special Offers
- Any outstanding block booking lessons or prepaid lessons must be completed within a maximum of 8 months of the first lesson being taken.
- If at any point during the 8 month period the client wishes to cancel the rest of the prepaid lessons they are entitled to a refund, but will lose the block booking discount where applicable. The completed lessons will be charged at full price and the rest of the payment will be refunded. A cancellation fee will occur only if the next prepaid lesson is less than 48 hours away.
Refunds
- The client is entitled to a full refund for any prepaid lessons they no longer wish to take. A cancellation fee will occur where applicable.
Price changes
- The price (per hour) may change from time to time due to the changing industry, but we are obligated to give you a month’s notice prior to the changes. This also will not affect any prepaid lessons and will only apply to new bookings made after the month’s notice is over.
Collection and Use of data
- Any data such as ‘pass’ photographs (photos of clients with their pass certificates) taken can be used for promotional services on the Leeds to Confidence website or social media etc.
- It is the client’s right to opt out if they wish to do so (remove photos with their face from the website/social media, blur their face etc.)
- Data will only be stored following GDPR rules (phone number, address etc.)
Time keeping and Traffic delays
- If the driving instructor is up to 20 minutes late for any reason, the client has the option to add the lost time of their lesson at a later date with the missed time added, or to continue the rest of the lesson and be refunded for the lost time.
Postponement of lessons
- If the client needs to rebook your lesson at a later/earlier date for any reason they are entitled to do so however a cancellation fee will occur where applicable.
Termination of contract
- Terminating your contract will automatically cancel any future booked lessons and you will be refunded for them unless the next one is less than 48 hours away. This will result in a cancellation fee.
Lost property
- We are not liable for any lost property that occurs in the vehicle during a lesson.
Your acceptance of these terms and conditions is taken upon commencement of your first lesson.
